My
Boyfriend and I came into your shop yesterday morning looking to purchase
a TV, may I say that the staff in the shop greeted us with a lovely smile
and said good morning, we then just had a wonder (There was no pressure
put on us at all), my brother then asked a question and the information
the chap (Dan) provided us with was excellent, he was so informative and
very very helpful, at this stage we advised that we are just price checking
and wanted to compare notes on TV's etc.
We did leave and went to other shops to make our enquires, but must say
the Customer Service we didn’t receive from other outlets bought
us back to your shop, again greeted with a smile no pressure, Dan was
able to answer all our questions again and was very informative.
We did purchase a TV from Panasonic,Tillys Lane, Staines Panasonic 42"
Plasma,£599.99, my brother is picking it up today from the warehouse
(as that suited us better).

very relaxed, informative and happy to assist knew all the answers, was
most impressed and would definitely recommend you to my friends.
I have never been into your shop before but what a excellent experience,

purchased a TV and 2 DVD players from your Marlow branch a couple of years
ago and at the time I chose Lakes, as opposed to any other retailer, as
I wanted to support a local business (I live In Marlow) and I was extremely
pleased with the help given to my wife and I by Luke Macfarren.Consequently
when I was looking to purchase a new TV, a home cinema system and a SKY
HD box recently I had no hesitation in paying Luke a visit again.I am delighted
to say that the service from Luke has once again been first class with absolutely
nothing being too much trouble even though I’m sure my wife was a
bit of a pain as she kept changing her mind!In addition I would like to
say how impressed I was with Martin Razey (and Ben) who installed the system.
Martin sorted out a problem which I’m sure many other installers would

I heard about you from the radio last year and the name stuck in my mind
so
when I wanted to upgrade my a/v amp i decided to give you a try now normally
i go up to london tottenham court rd and do the shop round for my equipment
at the best deal etc as i find dixons currys and comet (the high street
mainstream stores) not to keep high end niche equipment which is fine if
thats what you require but not for me sadly , so the phonecall came to your
bracknell store where i found them to have not only stock but good knowledge
of my choice the pioneer vsx-lx70 and they where keen to have my trade with
a competitive price so i purchased it from your employee dave.
Already since that purchase i have spoken to your store manager at bracknell
and purchased a pioneer dvr-lx60 again at a competitive price again great
service.
So to my point you are now my first call and well done for your stock levels
and good customer service that your staff give and i will certainly tell
friends and collegues to try you

I
recently bought a new television from your branch in Marlow and arranged
for one of your engineers to install it.
I felt I had to write to you to say that the subsequent after-sales service
was excellent.
(Apart from being close by to where I live, one of the reasons why I bought
the television from Lakes was that I had been told that the after-sales
service was of a high standard).
Without gouing into the detail, it was necessary for an engineer to make
a subsequent visit on more than one occasion, but I have to say that throughout
I received immediate, helpful assistance (not to mention patience!) from
the staff in the shop as well as from the visiting engineers themselves.
I can't imagine what kind of service I would have received had purchased
the television from one of the multiples, however for once the well used
but often hollow claim of being "customer focussed" was spot
on.

have recently purchased am LCD television from your Stoke Road branch.
I confess to being a very demanding customer, expecting a high level of
service. I was so impressed with the service that I received from your Slough
branch that I feel it is only right to give praise where it is due.
I was served by mr Rudy Richardson and found him extremely efficent, patient
and helpful. I will certainly come back to Lakes for any future electronic
purchases and will recommend Lakes based on the service I received from
Mr. Richardson.

Just
a note to say how pleased we are with the Sony TV which was delivered
yesterday with the Blue-Ray (which we haven't tried out yet).
We were very impressed with Lakes; we appreciated your expertise and advice
on our choice which made the whole experience easy, and the two lads who
came to set us up were charming, polite and very helpfull, and gave us
advice on the aerial/Sky options to improve our reception here.
I hope we get many years of pleasure from our purchases, and would not
hesitate to come to you again for any future purchases. It is refreshing

I
would like to bring to your attention the wonderful service that I have
received recently from members of your staff whilst buying a TV & VCR
so as to be able to run a security camera outside my property at night.
Firstly I visited your shop in Aylesbury & met Vanda who responded to
my requirements with skill, kindness and understanding, nothing was too
much trouble then or in a subsequent phone call. She arranged for the equipment
to be delivered on the following morning.
Friday morning Oliver & his assistant arrived & set up the TV for
me however when he realized that I was getting a security camera he went
to great trouble to ensure that I was buying the right equipment even speaking
to the security firm on my behalf to check on the compatibility. We had
some discussion as to the benefit of a DVD in place of the VCR so that I
could run the camera for a full night. He said that he would go away &
talk to some other staff & ring me later which he did. On the phone
he discussed the merits of VCR/DVD but had come up with another solution,
he had found VCR tapes that would run for 12 hours which I did not know
existed. Oliver then kindly arranged for the tapes to be delivered the following
morning.
Saturday morning Derek came with the tapes & also reprogrammed the TV
to BBC Central instead London so that I could have the local news.
Where else today would one find such attention?. Hence through you please

in June I called at your High Wycombe branch with a request for proposals
meeting a minimum unit, minimum cable requirement for replacing my old TV
and audio system. Having outlined to your Peter my thoughts, based on what
I knew was now technically achievable, I asked him to let me know what arrangement
of current units he would recommend.
The helpful response received from Peter, his competence in subsequently
dealing with related technical aspects made for a most rewarding experience,
to an extent that caused me to write to you.
It is a long time since I have encountered such a pleasant, understanding
and effective shopping experienced - which has not been without problems,
both technical and in endeavoring to meet the wishes of an enthusiastic
wife. In all aspects Peter dealt with these thoughtfully and efficiently
and I see him as an outstanding asset to Lakes.
